Koh Tao is a diver’s paradise. This small island, tucked away in the Gulf of Thailand, is famous for its vibrant coral reefs, colorful marine life, and easy access to some of the best scuba diving sites in the region. With so many dive spots just a short boat ride away, Koh Tao has become one of the most beloved destinations for both beginner divers and seasoned explorers.

One of the crown jewels of Koh Tao’s dive sites is Southwest Pinnacle”, or as the locals call it, Kong Hin Tong Ku”. Located about 10 kilometers from the island, it takes roughly 45 minutes by boat to reach this dive site. Because it sits further out in the open sea, conditions here depend on the currents, waves, and winds, making it a thrilling adventure best suited for experienced divers.

The site itself drops to depths of 5–30 meters, offering the perfect playground for fun dives, Advanced Open Water courses, Nitrox training, and specialty dives that require a deeper site. For those who love a little challenge and a lot of reward, Southwest Pinnacle never disappoints.
