At New Heaven Dive School, we keep our SSI Divemaster training course personal and experience-focused, usually training just 1–3 students at a time. As a small, family-run conservation dive school, we believe in quality over quantity, offering hands-on learning, close mentorship, and plenty of time in the water. Our program typically runs between 8 and 12 weeks, depending on your progress and schedule. During this time, you’ll be diving most days, building strong theoretical knowledge, and gaining real experience by assisting instructors in scuba diving courses. Beyond technical skills, we also focus on developing soft skills like communication, professionalism, and a genuine passion for ocean conservation.
What truly makes the experience special is becoming part of our community. As a Divemaster trainee, you’ll be involved in a wide range of activities from BBQ days and community dinners to beach and underwater clean-ups, reef conservation projects, and fun social events like karaoke and games nights. It’s more than just SSI Divemaster training; it’s a chance to fully immerse yourself in the lifestyle, connect with like-minded people, and grow both as a diver and as a person.
