The New Navy Wrecks Dive Sites are Ready to Explore!
Koh Tao’s 2 new shipwreck dive sites are ready to dive! Last week on the 7th and 8th of September, The Koh Tao Community and The Royal Thai Navy team deployed the latest additions underwater here in Koh Tao.
1. HTMS. Hanhaksattru 312, located near Mao Bay on the east coast of Koh Tao
2. HTMS. Suphairin 313, located near No Name Pinnacle on the west side of Nang Yuan Island
These 2 new wrecks were discharged from the Royal Thai Navy, and with our love and passion for diving, the Koh Tao people and divers worked together to coordinate and manage the securement of these Naval ships. Led by an incredible team that monitored the progress from the beginning to success, making these wrecks will provide some exciting new dive sites. New Heaven Dive School was one of the local businesses that supported help with the costs associated with bringing and deploying these wrecks to Koh Tao. As well as our Baan Talay Koh Tao – Resort & Yoga, @Save Koh Tao, and @New Heaven Cafe, supported good bakes, cakes, and herbal tea for the ceremony. We also got to witness the deploying moments of the shipwrecks on the mentioned dates.

จุดดำน้ำเรือจมใหม่ 2 ลำมาถึงที่เกาะเต่าแล้ว! เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ชุมชนเกาะเต่าและทีมงานกองทัพทหารเรือได้วางเรือรบจำนวน 2 ลำ เพื่อเป็นจุดดำน้ำแห่งใหม่บนเกาะเต่า
1. เรือรบหาญหักศัตรู 312 วางที่อ่าวเมา จุดดำน้ำทางด้านตะวันออกของเกาะเต่า
2. เรือรบสู้ไพรินทร์ 313 วางที่จุดดำน้ำกองหินโนเนม ใกล้กับทางด้านทิศตะวันตกของเกาะนางยวน
เรือรบ 2 ลำดังกล่าวได้ถูกปลดประจำการจากกองทัพเรือไทย ด้วยความรักและความหลงใหลในการดำน้ำ พวกเราชาวเกาะเต่าและนักดำน้ำ ได้ร่วมมือร่วมใจกันประสาน จัดการ และดูแลความปลอดภัยของเรือรบเหล่านี้ นำโดยทีมงานมากความสามารถที่คอยดูแลติดตามกระบวนการตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ ซึ่งเรือจมทั้งสองลำนี้ จะกลายเป็นจุดดำน้ำจุดใหม่ของเกาะเต่า โรงเรียนดำน้ำนิวเฮฟเว่นก็เป็นหนึ่งในธุรกิจท้องถิ่นของชุมชนเกาะเต่าที่ช่วยสนับสนุนค่าใช้จ่ายในการวางเรือรบใต้ทะเลทั้งสองลำ เช่นเดียวกับ ชมรมรักษ์เกาะเต่า ร้านนิวเฮฟเว่น คาเฟ่ หาดทรายรี และร้านอาหารบ้านทะเลของเรา ที่ได้สนับสนุนเครื่องดื่มสมุนไพร ขนมอบต่างๆ ทั้งแรงกายแรงใจ ในพิธีวางเรือ และทีมโรงเรียนดำน้ำนเฮฟเว่น ยังได้รับเชิญไปเป็นสักขีพยานการวางเรือใต้ทะเลอีกด้วย
