Pink Anemone Fish – Koh Tao’s Marine Life

The Pink Anemonefish is pinkish-orange with a white bar down either side of the face, and a white stripe along the back. It has a white caudal fin. It inhabits coral reefs and is usually associated with the anemone Heteractis magnifica. Usually one adult pair and several juveniles are present in each anemone.

ปลาชนิดนี้มีลักษณะสีชมพูอมส้ม มีความแตกต่างกับปลาการ์ตูนชนิดอื่นคือ มีลายสีขาวคาดบริเวณแผ่นปิดเหงือกและบริเวณสันหลังยาวจนถึงหางสีขาว ปลาสายพันธุ์นี้อาศัยอยู่ตามแนวปะการัง โดยเฉพาะดอกไม้ทะเลหรือซีแอนนีโมนี่ ปลาชนิดนี้เมื่อโตเต็มวัยจะอยู่กันเป็นคู่พร้อมกับลูกๆหลายๆตัวตามดอกไม้ทะเลแต่ละอัน
